When measuring an item, we lay it flat on a smooth surface and usually record the following measurements below.

Chest/Bust
We measure the item across the chest, directly under the armpits, from seam to seam.
Sleeve Length
Starting from the shoulder, we measure down to the end of the sleeve, following the natural curve to provide the sleeve length
Shoulder Width
We measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seem, across the back of the item
Overall length
Beginning from the top of the collar, we measure down to the bottom hem to determine its overall length
